I have seen so many cute Christmas desserts this year that I have wanted to try and make, but with the craziness this time of year brings I barely found time to make just this one! So if you are still trying to find the perfect treat to take to your Christmas gathering, I have the perfect cake for you!. It is super cute, easy and fun to decorate, and sure to be a hit. What You Need
How to Assemble Written Directions 1. Place the first cake layer onto the board, and frost the center alternating red and white frosting in a circular pattern. 2. Now, place the second cake layer on top of the other. 3. Apply a thin crumb coat to the cake using a light colored frosting (so it doesn't show through). 4. Next, frost the top of the cake using the tan frosting, and using a large frosting spatula, create a swirling pattern to mimic the inside of a log
6. Then, with your green frosting and a leaf tip (there are several options, I used Wilton #67) pipe large leaves in a circular pattern around the edges of the cake.
8. Using your red frosting and tip #104 (a round tip would also work) make a bow at the top of the wreath. 9. Now, when you are ready to place your cookies onto the cake, squirt a dot of frosting onto the back side to ensure they stick. 10. Place your pine cones in various places along the wreath.
12. Then, using a sifter (sieve) lightly dust the top of the cake with powdered sugar.
14. Last but not least, enjoy and have a Merry Christmas and a happy Holiday Season with friends and family!

AuthorHi, Breanne again! This is where you will be able to find all of my blogs, and I am excited to see what I find to write about next. Maybe I will even be able to inspire you to do some baking or maybe it will just be a little entertainment for your day. Either way, baking and writing are two activities I really enjoy, so I look forward to being able to share that with you! Categories
